My name is Jim Kinert, a specialist in senior health insurance including Medicare Supplements, Medicare Advantage and Part D Prescription Drug Plans. My wife, Jane, and I have been working together for over 12 years helping people determine the best approach for their Medicare coverage. I have 12 years of senior insurance experience and can explain the various “parts” of Medicare and discuss the different Medicare Supplement and Medicare Advantage plans to help narrow down the best options that meet your objectives. Through the years I’ve helped hundreds of families and individuals with their insurance needs. I attribute much of my success to the varied experiences I have had in my life. Growing up in a rural Midwestern town I worked as a church janitor and farmhand during my high school years while participating in sports, chorus and class plays. I attended a state university earning a degree in biology with jobs at a pizza parlor, car wash, gas station, radiator manufacturing company, and grain processing plant. After graduation, I started my professional career in a toxicology testing lab in Chicago. Three years later I moved back to central Illinois as a sales representative with a major pharmaceutical company. This position involved managing accounts such as hospitals, pharmacies, doctor’s offices, clinics and nursing homes. Ten years later an opportunity to work with a healthcare management company took us to St. Louis where my insurance career started. After nearly twenty years in the St. Louis area, we moved to southwestern Missouri to be part of a large Christian ministry. Our church, Faith Life Church in Branson, MO. broadcasts services nationally, internationally and via the internet. I work on the parking team and Jane serves in technology services. We have been personal finance mentors and conducted financial peace classes for church members. Our faith in God is the foundation of everything we do and is the source of everything we have. I also volunteer with Senior Link Community Partnership and the Alzheimer’s Association. These groups keep me in touch with everyday family and community challenges. For recreation, we enjoy golf, traveling and many outdoor activities. Medicare health insurance is essential in maintaining a comfortable lifestyle and is constantly changing.
